Dispatcher Training Simulation System for Transmission and Distribution Networks
Applications

The DTS system consists of three main modules: control center simulation, power system simulation, and instructor simulation. The control center simulation highly replicates the dispatching operation environment, the power system simulation accurately simulates grid steady state, dynamic state, and fault conditions, and the instructor simulation module supports flexible training process setup, allowing customization of complex scenarios and assessment plans. The system closely mirrors the actual operating environment, offering dispatchers an immersive practical training experience. It is extensively utilized for dispatcher skill enhancement, accident simulation, and competition assessment, serving as a crucial tool to enhance dispatchers' operational capabilities.

Functional Features
  • High-Fidelity Simulation Training
Based on the mathematical model of the power system, it recreates the operating environment of a designated area, encompassing steady-state, dynamic, and fault conditions to deliver a highly realistic practical training environment.
  • Batch Modeling
It offers protection templates and facilitates the batch generation of protection devices based on equipment type and voltage level.
  • CS/BS Dual-Mode Support
The C/S architecture provides dispatchers with a more realistic software operation environment, while the B/S architecture broadens the range of personnel who can access the training system.
  • Joint Anti-Accident Drill
Utilizing provincial interconnection functionality, it supports multi-department joint anti-accident drills to simulate complex fault scenarios.
  • Flexible Functional Expansion
It supports the expansion of basic functions with automatic voltage control (AVC) and distribution power management (DPM) to meet diverse training requirements.
