Active Support System for Renewable Energy Plants
Applications

Applicable to new energy power plants of 10kV and above, meeting the requirements for inertia response, primary frequency regulation, and rapid voltage regulation in active support system construction.

System Composition
  • The system primarily consists of three components: the active support control terminal, fast frequency device, and active support workstation.

  • The fast frequency device collects voltage and current at the point of common coupling (PCC) to compute system frequency deviation and voltage deviation.

  • The control terminal calculates the necessary active and reactive power response, allocates power, and facilitates the rapid adjustment of frequency and voltage

  • The workstation supports status monitoring, including function activation/deactivation and log query.

Functional Features
  • Primary Frequency Regulation
Delay time within 1s, rise time within 5s, regulation time within 15s, regulation deviation within ±1%Pn.
  • Inertia Response
Regulation time within 1s, regulation deviation within ±1%Pn.
  • Fast Voltage Regulation
Rise time within 0.6s, regulation time within 1s, regulation deviation within ±0.3%Un.
  • Remote Testing
Supports remote testing, allowing dispatchers to periodically test the active support response capability of power plants remotely.
