When the 110kV busbar of a 220kV plant or substation is de-energized, the smart restoration system uses real-time collected information to calculate a restoration path for the de-energized busbar. It fully considers factors such as main transformer current, 220kV busbar voltage, 110kV busbar voltage, station-level automatic transfer switches, line current margins, and data anomalies. The system generates a sequence of switch operations for open-loop or closed-loop control to quickly restore power to the busbar. If the restoration path indicates a current limit violation, it activates the interconnected overload shedding function, considering load priorities, load current magnitudes, and the amount of load that needs to be shed.
